Indonesia is currently the world’s biggest
exporter of thermal coal from its estimated reserves of
over 52 billion Metric Tones. Indonesian coal is especially
attractive for countries like China, India, Japan and Taiwan
because of its close proximity as compared to Australian
and South African coal supply.
PT Bhoruka mines has been established since 2008 and is
part of the Bhoruka Group from India, which has diverse
interests in fields including green energy. Presently the
company owns one coalmine in East Kalimantan, Indonesia
with the current capability of delivering 50,000 Mt/ month.
Apart from the supply of acquired mines, we source coal
from other trusted local suppliers to meet our customer’s
additional requirements.
PT Bhoruka Mines also has further interests in continuous
acquisitions of Indonesian coalmines, with long-term plans
of acquiring 100 million mineable tons in the next five
years and immediate goal of ramping up our production capability
to deliver 1 million Mt/ year by FY2012. Our mines our targeted
to serve the Indian as well as other Asia Pacific markets
which has diverse fields including alternative energy
such as solar and hydro projects, as well as gas and
real estate focus.
